1. Purpose

These GTCSU govern transactions made on the Lauredi website, which specializes in the sale of 18-carat gold jewelry and synthetic diamonds. They define the rights and obligations of customers and Lauredi for each order.

By validating an order, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract, meaning you are at least 18 years old and not under any protective measures for adults. If these conditions are not met, Lauredi reserves the right to cancel the order.

You declare that you have read and understood the GTCSU, which take precedence over any other document.

2. Products

The jewelry offered for sale on Lauredi is made from high-quality materials, including synthetic diamonds. All items are new.
We make every effort to provide detailed and accurate descriptions of the products. However, minor differences between the images and the actual product may exist due to display settings or shooting conditions. In particular, given the nature of the materials used, especially diamonds, colors may vary from the photo. These color variations are inherent to the natural characteristics of the materials and cannot be considered a lack of conformity.
Lauredi cannot be held responsible for these minor discrepancies, except in cases where these differences would be substantial to the point of significantly affecting the quality or intended use of the product. In such cases, the customer is invited to contact Lauredi's customer service immediately.
All diamonds weighing 0.3 carats or more are certified by independent laboratories. The characteristics of these diamonds correspond to the product description, as certified on the provided certificates. These certificates attest to the authenticity and quality of the diamonds used in our jewelry.

3. Prices

The prices shown on the site are in euros, including all taxes (VAT). However, shipping costs are not included in the displayed price and will be calculated based on the destination and shipping method chosen when validating the order.

For deliveries outside the European Union, customs duties or other additional fees may apply, to be paid by the buyer.

You agree to receive your invoices exclusively electronically.

4. Order

4.1 Account Creation

To place an order, it is necessary to create a customer account on the site. This account allows you to track your orders and manage your personal information. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided. Any error could result in the cancellation of the order.

4.2 Order Validation

Before validating the order, you will be able to review a summary of your items and shipping costs. By clicking on the order validation button, you declare that you have read and fully accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (GTCSU). This action constitutes full and complete acceptance of the GTCSU and forms the sales contract between you and Lauredi.

4.3 Order Confirmation

Once the order is validated and payment confirmed, Lauredi will send you a confirmation email containing the order summary. Lauredi reserves the right to cancel any order in case of a dispute concerning a previous order or for any other legitimate reason.

4.4 Modifications and Cancellation

If a product ordered is unavailable after order confirmation, we will offer you a product of equivalent or superior quality without changing the price. If cancellation is necessary, the amount will be fully refunded.

4.5 Abnormal Orders

Lauredi reserves the right to not honor an abnormal order, to reduce it or to split it. Any order or series of orders that exceeds or unbalances Lauredi's production and/or delivery capacities is presumed to be abnormal.

5. Payment

Orders placed on the Lauredi site must be paid in full at the time of validation. Payment can be made by credit card, Apple Pay, or via Alma for installment payments.

Accepted credit cards include Carte Bleue, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. By validating your order, you authorize Lauredi to debit the corresponding amount. Any bank charges, including in case of refund, are to be borne by the buyer.

To ensure the security of your transactions, Lauredi uses a secure payment system. Additional verifications may be carried out to confirm the buyer's identity and prevent fraud.

Invoices are sent upon delivery of the products.

6. Delivery Times and Refund

6.1 Information on Production and Delivery Times

Lauredi jewelry is made to order, which implies a production delay before shipping. Lauredi commits to respecting the following deadlines:

- Production time: 3 to 4 weeks from order confirmation.
- Shipping time to metropolitan France after production:
- Standard delivery: 2 to 5 business days
- Express delivery: 1 to 2 business days (when available)

The total estimated time, from order to receipt, is therefore 3 to 5 weeks depending on the chosen delivery method.

These times are given as an indication and may vary depending on the complexity of the jewelry and periods of high demand. Lauredi commits to informing you of any significant change in these deadlines.

6.2 Confirmation of Delivery Time

When validating the order, Lauredi will provide you with an estimated delivery date. This date will take into account the production time and shipping time.

6.3 Order Tracking

Lauredi will keep you informed of the various stages of manufacturing and shipping of your order. A tracking number will be provided as soon as the order is shipped.

6.4 Delivery Delay

In case of a delay in production or shipping, Lauredi commits to informing you as soon as possible by email and providing you with a new estimated delivery date.

6.6 Force Majeure and Exceptional Circumstances

In case of delivery delay due to exceptional circumstances or force majeure (as defined in the "Force Majeure" section of these GTCSU), Lauredi commits to informing you as soon as possible. In these situations, delivery times will be suspended until the exceptional event ceases. If the delay extends beyond 30 days, each party will have the possibility to terminate the contract, without penalty or damages.

6.7 Contract Resolution

You can immediately resolve the contract when Lauredi refuses to deliver the goods or when compliance with the delivery deadline constitutes an essential condition of the contract expressly mentioned at the time of the order.

6.8 Refund

In case of contract resolution, Lauredi commits to refunding you the total amount paid, no later than 14 business days following the date on which the contract was terminated.

The refund will be made using the same payment method that you used for your initial order, unless you expressly agree to another refund method.

Lauredi will inform you by email once the refund has been processed.

6.9 Package Reception

Upon receipt of the package, you are required to carefully check its external condition before accepting it.
In case of apparent damage (deformed, opened, wet package, etc.), you must refuse the package and immediately return it to the carrier. You must then inform Lauredi of this refusal as soon as possible, ideally on the same day, by contacting customer service at info@lauredi.com.
If you accept the package despite apparent damage, Lauredi cannot be held responsible for any damage found later.
In case damage not visible from the outside is discovered upon opening the package, you must report it to Lauredi within 3 business days following receipt, providing detailed photos of the package and the damaged product.
Lauredi reserves the right to investigate the circumstances of the delivery before proceeding with any replacement or refund of the product.

7. Returns and Resizing

7.1 Returns

You have a period of 30 calendar days after receipt to return non-personalized items that do not satisfy you. Before returning a product, you must contact our customer service by email or registered mail to obtain return instructions.

Products must be returned in perfect condition, in their original packaging, accompanied by all accessories and the invoice. If the conditions are not respected, the return will be refused and no refund will be made. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

7.2 Return Conditions

Returns will only be accepted for unworn, unmodified items in their original condition. Made-to-measure or personalized products cannot be returned, except with prior agreement.

7.3 Resizing

You have the option to request resizing within 30 calendar days after receiving the product. Return shipping costs are covered if the return is made from eligible countries. Once resizing has been carried out, the product can no longer be returned or exchanged.

8.3 Service Interruptions and Malfunctions

Although Lauredi makes every effort to ensure continuous access and optimal functioning of the site, temporary interruptions or malfunctions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or technical problems beyond our control.
Lauredi cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect damages resulting from the inability to access or use the site. In the event of prolonged service interruption, Lauredi will endeavor to inform users to the extent possible and restore access as soon as possible.
Users acknowledge that Lauredi cannot guarantee absolute continuity of service and accept the risks inherent in using the Internet and electronic means of communication.

These general terms and conditions of sale are subject to French law. In the event of failure of the mediation procedure, any dispute relating to their interpretation and/or execution falls under the jurisdiction of French courts.
However, in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 1215/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 December 2012 on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgments in civil and commercial matters, consumers residing in a Member State of the European Union other than France retain the right to bring an action before the courts of their country of residence.
