Les diamants roses - Lauredi

Pink Diamonds

The pink diamond owes its exceptional colour to plastic deformation of its crystal structure during formation. This colour—ranging from a delicate to an intense pink, once reserved for legends such as the Pink Star diamond—is now within reach thanks to our lab-grown diamonds.

Pink, without the mine

Five colours make up the house palette. Pink is the one nature charges most for: the Pink Star, 59.60 carats, remains the most expensive diamond ever sold at auction.

Our pink diamonds are graded Fancy Vivid Pink, the highest saturation on the coloured diamond scale. In a mined stone, that intensity turns up a handful of times a decade. Ours was never mined.

Every piece comes in three metals: solid 925 silver, vermeil, recycled 18 carat gold. The stone does not change. That is what lets a Faubourg 1925 start at 190 € and a Mme La Marquise solitaire reach 5,990 €.

Introducing

One ring, three metals, the same diamond

The gap between a 190 € ring and a 5,990 € solitaire is not the stone. It is the metal and the carat.

Solid 925 silver holds the pink cold: sharp, almost graphic. Vermeil warms it. Recycled 18 carat gold wraps around it, and that is the metal of engagement pieces.

You can start in silver and move to gold later. The diamond does not move.

Introducing

Three cuts, three ways to wear pink

Faubourg 1925 is the house's Art Deco line: brilliant cut on the Baby One, 0.70 carat Asscher on the statement pieces. Clean steps, cut corners, the geometry of Paris in the twenties. The colour sits dense and architectural.

Mme La Marquise takes the marquise cut, the signature of French haute joaillerie. Set horizontally across the band, it stretches the stone and lengthens the finger. The pink breathes: lighter at the points, deeper at the centre.

Loop works the pear, a drop caught in the movement of the band. The softest of the three.

The choice is aesthetic. The stone is the same.

Shades from light to deep

Fancy Light Pink, Fancy Intense, Fancy Vivid: the coloured diamond saturation scale has several grades. Ours are graded Fancy Vivid Pink, the highest.
