The Mme La Marquise Ring in white is a symmetrical composition built around a central marquise. The eye is drawn to the centre: a slightly elevated D/E/F white marquise-cut diamond, then follows the arc of four white marquises framing it on each side, punctuated by four round brilliant diamonds in bezel setting. The marquise diamond was born of a royal commission. In 1745, Louis XV had a diamond cut into the shape of a smile for the Marquise de Pompadour: an elongated stone with tapered points, its outline echoing the curve of her lips. It was named the marquise, or navette. Three centuries later, at LAUREDI, we chose this cut not only for its history, but for the way it transforms light. The marquise concentrates, elongates, and asserts. On the finger, it refines the line. On the wrist, it gives structure. At the neck, it draws the eye before anything else. The Mme La Marquise collection is built around a single principle: a coloured lab-grown diamond, selected for its saturation and cut, encircled by white diamonds that amplify its brilliance without competing with it. Each piece is crafted in our Parisian atelier in 18-carat gold, with your choice of metal and the colour of the centre stone: blue, pink, green, yellow, white. Five expressions of the same character.

Care and Maintenance
How do I care for my gold and diamond pieces?
Prepare a solution of lukewarm water and mild washing-up liquid, then soak the jewellery for 10–15 minutes. Gently brush with a soft toothbrush, paying particular attention beneath the stones, then rinse with lukewarm water. Finish by drying with a soft, lint-free cloth.
